I always tell Grace that I love her when I put her down to bed. The other day, she picked out her book for bed, then I put her in her crib. I said, "I love you Grace." She said for the 1st time, "I love you too, Mommy." It made my heart melt to hear her sweet little voice.Grace is getting to be such a big girl. She wants to do things herself now. She puts her shoes on the wrong feet and if I try and change them, she gets upset.
She has also started letting me put little pony tails in her hair. She still rips the bows out right away but she'll leave the rubber bands in. Go figure.
I think Kate was 3 before she allowed me to do anything with her hair. No bows, no rubber bands, no headbands. I'm so glad she grew out of that! I can't believe how much older she looks! She's a big girl now, not a baby...
